@ Mek: It says more about society and people at the time; it's not really an example of dodgy artistic opportunism, is it? The guy could write and had something very critical and truthful to say about society, representing a generation of dissent, among other things. You make it sound as if all these artists that have ever used a pseudonym or moniker are doing so for nothing more than to boost profit margins and appeal to wider audiences.
