How did you die in BF2, if you can remember. With the game being so epic, I still can remember. First time i played online, I join a random Wake Island server. It was right before BF2 switched to 1.4.

So just chillin there, wondering, "Why is everyone just standing around?" All of a sudden, you guessed it:

EnemyCommander (Artillery) RandomNub
EnemyCommander (Artillery) RandomNub2
EnemyCommander (Artillery) RandomNub3
EnemyCommander (Artillery) RandomNub4

So how did you first acquaint yourself to the ever popular, "You are critically wounded" (or whatever other message you put on there) screen?

I can't remember my first death but when I first started playing I died a lot from jets, I kept getting bombed by J-10 and I thought the J-10 was the same as Z-10 lol I thought they was the same vehicle just different weapons then I learnt

not sure wut it was, but I was trying to figure out how to switch weapons and such and other stuff how to aim, prob. got shot while standing in the middle of the field trying to figure out the controls for everything, since they werent configured. But yeah it was prob. on Gulf of Oman.

I know, it is amazing. My first round on BF2 was also my first online game ever, so the feelings were overwhelming. I was so excited, partly because of my age, but also seeing 40 people in a virtual world was something completely new to me. ah the memories.

It was on Zatar wetlands, I found a mobile AA (thought it was awesome) And booted it up to see a plane coming for a bombing run from way off, started pumping rounds into (thought the lock on was awesome also) and then it killed me. I got it smoking though, and it crashed, also my first kill.

Not so hard to remember actually ... got runned over by a guy on the same team playing US on Karkand, just a few seconds after spawning at the forward spawnpoint running down the little hill and BAM ...

My first death really spun me out and I still remember it after nearly 4 years!

I had been playing single player for 6 months (only had dial up at the time and this was my first FPS) so was so used to how the AI move around. So when I came across a dude climbing a ladder at Karkand (Karkland back then ) I proceeded to shoot him but of course missed, he jumped off the ladder and killed me with one shot. I was like "Whoa, that doesn't happen in single player".
