I've just started running a server from home now.  I'm going to set it up for gun game later but right now it's on de_train.  Now friends and I can connect to it with "connect 173.2.121.172" but I don't think it shows up in the server browser, and it definitely doesn't show up on Game Monitor.  Why is that?

And can anyone link me to a good general resource for plugins, mods, rcon tools and the like?

I think you need to do a few commands like sv_lan 0 and there's another one, can't remember.

When I did that I could only get it working with hamachi.

nope never mind, it actually was working, there was just no one in it.  still doesn't show up in game monitor though, but w/e.
