So... I was in my local heath centre getting my monthly bloods done today, when the practices senior doctor came in and told the nurse a suspected case would be coming in for the Tammy flu jab. looks like it's on my doorstep..

I haven't heard anything about it for ages, its like the bird flu pandemic we were supposed to have, which has yet to arrive. Not enough people dying so the media gave up on the story.

The thing is, the yearly flu virus usually acts like a atomic bomb in that there is an explosion and then a returning blow.

The disease spreads out, mutates and then makes another round in the fall. The doctors fear the mutated second wave.

Of course, this is the age of fear and the more fear there is the more power we offer up, so expect one crysis after another crysis until the mid term elections approach, then the news will be better and democrats will all be congradulating each other on their deft handling of the crysis.
