BBC Micro Model B, in about '85. I'm 27 now.

Great little computer. Had to open it up and solder bits in all the time and with a bit of soldering I could hook it up to my lego and control my robots with BBC Basic.

Elite, Revs, Castle Quest......       Ah - great games.

Can't remember when exactly or how old I was - I do know that over here the 486's were still being sold alongside the pentium processor based machines. Don't tell anyone but the guy from the store installed a bunch of illegal game/software copies on it. First games I played on it were Heroes of Might & Magic, Command & Conquer and Crusader - No Remorse if I remember correctly.

I believe dad bought mine when I was 10, so that would have been '77. I don't recall what our processors speed was, but I think dad bought the one that had 16KB memory. He actually hooked up my cassette player to use as a tape drive, it worked. I remember him saying that we could hook a telephone to it, and two computers could talk to each other. He never did get the "modem" to work. I just remembering him talking about it, and thinking how awesome that would be. Little did I know where we'd be 32 years from then, lol.

Only game I remember playing on it was a Star Trek game, it was text only. You had to read the text, and try to figure out where the enemy ship was to shoot at it. I failed miserably at that game. I sold my TRS-80 in a garage sale, in '85-'86, for $20. Wish I had kept it! D'oh!
