Question about this guys stats and how he got them.

First off, check out this guys stats.

Ended up squadding with him this weekend, he appeared to be pretty cool, had a good time as squad members, and he used the VIOP while in the squad. Then the tide turned on a map and then the son of a bitch showed his true colors as a team jumping P.O.S. that just camps on the winning team.

I watched him for the next three maps and all he did was make sure he was on the winning team by the end of the map.
How lame is that?

Every time he ended up on our side, I entered his squad and tried to talk with him about it, but suddenly his mic was not working.

My question is how does someone make Full COl. with out having his BASIC Knife, Pistol, Ordinance, Command or Aviator badges?

Even before the new ranks with 1.2 how did he get past Gunnery Sergeant when the promotion to Master SGT you need at the minimum all your basic badges?

I dont understand. 1200 hours and 23 minutes in a jet? LOL 4 kills and 8 deaths? seems fishy to me.

I suggest you look at UBAR for two seconds. Badges are not required to get to Colonel. They only matter for seargent (sic) ranks.

Bu to progress to COL, you need to get to LT first.
To get to LT you need to make the top SGT.

To get to to p SGT,
Next Rank: Master Sergeant you need all your basic badges.

Using a friends rank, he has this message:

Next Rank: Master Sergeant
You are not yet eligible for the advanced rank of because you are missing the awards: Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge

So using that logic, not all the basics, how the hell did he get to Lt to get to COL?

UBAR does not address this. So my question still stands, how does he bypass the need of all basic medals?

You're wrong. You don't need to be First Sergeant or Sergeant Major to become 2nd. Lt.

I find it a little funny that some of the posters here have said this guy is a crappy player, but his Actual game stats are better then theirs. I wouldn't call him a well rounded player, but you can't call him a bad player. Those that have are only saying that they themselves are bad players as well..

I kinda respect the fact that he doesn't have many expert badges, it means he plays the game and isn't on a badge hunt. God forbid that he's playing the game to have fun.. I'm sick of trying to help some of my friends in order to get them badges. It's more aggrivating then it's worth and it takes away from actual gameplay. So he doesn't have the airborne ribbon? 150,000+ points is a lot more impressive then hanging in a parachute for 10seconds. One of those you actually have to work for.

Although you guys have one thing correct, changing sides all the time to be on the winning side isn't cool.

Dude, you're messed up. Stats only reflect HOW you play. If he's cheating, then the stats reflect that. Team-switching, while not necessarily illegal (it is, technically, do'able), is not ethical. It is essentially a form of stat-padding... and his stats bear that out. So comparing his stats to those that are complaining is just messed up. What this says to me is that this guy is only interested in a particular type of stat-padding. Correct, he his obviously not on a hunt for badges/ribbons, he's out for rank, and it's just as wrong.

We all come to a ranked server for different reasons, but one in particular is supposed to be the basis for all others: to help your team win. This guy is not a team player. Therefore he is defrauding the honest players of their time and energy, and that my friend is still stealing.

You have to admit that HALO jumping is a fairly common tactic. It is hard to believe that a person with as many hours as this guy has, he has never done it, either on purpose or accident. It is very suspicious.

you wouldnt get your airborne ribbon for HALO jumping
it requires 10 seconds in a chute

This is pathetic! Looking at his stats, I'd say he was a good team player, playing primarily as support and medic. I wish people would stop bitching and whining about players with a higher score than themselves. My SPM is lower than it should be because alot of my time as squad leader is spent sat just out of the firing line offering my squad a good spawn point close to the action so we have a greater chance of capping flags. Just because someone doesn't whore a jet or have a 5:1 K/D ratio doesn't mean they're a bad player. So put up and shut up, get on with your own game and forget everyone elses.

He is just not interested in some of the badges/ribbons/medals , or flying in planes.

With a Win/loss ration of 1. somthing, I is hard to believe what you are saying is true. If he did switch to the winning team, then his w/d would be higher. Who also to say that the admin did not switch him to the other team, or what about PunkBuster?? No that would never happen.

Look at the stats for Quaff11 . I played on his squad last night and he is a good player and skilled. I looked at his stats and he is a lieutenant, but is missing some of the most basic badges/medals. How is that accomplished?
