Hi all.

I tried searching to see if this has been raised here already or not, and got no results - if I'm wrong then apologies and please delete this mods.

There is a poll over at EA that I think you should consider voting in, regarding the idea of making AF and EF free, in an effort to boost dwindling player numbers.

It may seem useless to some, but a person who knows those forums has said that

Bazza (the DICE guy) said although he is able to make decisions about almost anything on BF2, that is one of the few he can't, but that he would certainly put forward the motion to do it to the producer if it got enough support.

So, worth taking a moment to vote I reckon.

Personally, my thoughts as experssed over there are

I voted make 'em free even though I paid. Even if the game wasn't dying a bit, which it is (in my region anyway) I would've voted that just because of how old they are now. Saying people should pay the measley $10-15 just because you did two years ago is really lame, pointless, and harms already dwindling player numbers. And saying they should still be for cash when you didn't buy either of them - WTF. It's better to keep them on sale and unplayed rather than people playing them? Must be the work of trolls.

Time servers are seriously the worse and the only reason they can possibly exist is because of the shitstain autoadmin is.

This whole idea is pointless. I had to replace my bf2 cd last week and discovered the complete bf2 content on one dvd for $29.82.
Kinda sucks because I bought Everything before at full price but the game is so old the price is great.
I now own 2 copies of everything!

Anyways, as I said, I don't even know why it's being brought up as the dvd is so cheap. Besides, AF and EF never really was that popular except for some. I did like some of the maps they looked nice and always wondered why more people didn't play them much.

For those of you wondering what the dvd has on it....

I sorta have to back-step a bit and say that I realise allot of people have played BF2 for a long time but never wanted to shell out the outrageous price of $10.00 each booster. I say, why not go buy the dvd and gift the other content to a friend who has never played before and keep AF and EF for yourself. That way, more people would be playing BF2 and all would be good. I guess.

I voted for them too already. I have everything for BF2, bought the booster packs a few years ago, but want the booster packs free simply so I can play them again! Having the maps actually come up in more servers would be fantastic. I really enjoyed the booster packs when I could play them.

I would really bought it like a half year ago, but in local store I was told that there will be no more orders of AF or EF so I didnt get anything. Although I think that if they make it free there be more people to play them and having fun, but EA doesnt really care about fun, just money...

It would be awesome if more people got AF&EF. Maps are very cool.
One huge problem with them is now that there's only time servers and/or no f'n admined servers at all. Playing 12 vs 46 is so f'n cool. And if I or someone good in our team gets in a jet/helo and starts raping those lameass joiners in other team you'll see next round is 50 vs 8.
