What tricks can you do? Can you pull a wheelie and do an endo? I can and I'm 33.

i haven't watched the video yet, but trials bikers are fucking awesome.  i've always wanted to get a cheap trials bike and try some of that stuff.  need to go to school now but i'll sure watch that.

Same.... *looks on ebay*

Yeah, that's an awesome video, I saw it a few days ago and it was video of the day on Pinkbike yesterday. Amazing skills! I read that he has to take ibuprofen before he rides to stop his wrists hurting from the impacts... I'd never want to take my riding that far!

i love how everyone's like "what the fuuuuuuck?!" after he does all of that.  that guy's insane.  i'd be happy with just the rear wheel hopping trick you see on other videos.

i can't imagine absorbing those drops with no shocks at all, or the bike taking that kind of a force.  that's crazy.

I do this sport  (Trials) but i mainly do the motorbike version and only a little bit of a push bike version (my brothers a lot better at it than i am)

From the point of view of someone who does this i can tell you:
1. His fucking good (obvious lol) and can pick some very nice lines.

2. There is a huge amount of hype over this video, people have to realise that there are quite a number of people at his level of skill, some people seem to think he invented this.

3.Different bikes are geared or not geared. it depends, both are popular. generally the smaller bikes (around 20") don't have gears and the larger ones (around 26") do.... but that not to say it changes alot. (My family has 4 trials pushbikes and 2 are geared and 2 aren't)

4. As for absorbing shock, its all about technique, the most important thing is landing on the back wheel and using the kinda see-saw action of the bike to dampen the shock. However these bikes do break very regularly (Unless you have a super awesome one lol)

Awesome video.

I've always wanted to do some crazy stuff on bikes.  But what does it take? I mean what is his trick to jump like that? Because there's no way you can just pop up like that without some kind of ramp. How does he climb some of those walls?

This will be my new bike!

What do you think?

Doing that sort of stuff is all about timing, you have to time the pulling back, doing a half-crank and lifting the bike perfectly.

Looks nice, but you're not going to be able to do the same stuff as him on it.

Because it's more of a mountain bike right?

So what can I do with it?

cross country biking.  not much more.  it's a hardtail with only about 4 inches of travel on the front fork.

what model/make is it exactly?  i was just judging it by the picture.

It's a Wheeler Trail 10 Hard tail

Frame: Aluminum 6061

Front suspension: RST GRa Pro T 100mm

Gear shifter: SHIMANO SLX/Deore

27 gears

Breaks: Quad GHD-4

EDIT: So yeah it's a mountain bike with front and read disk breaks. Adjustable front suspension, 27 gears and a mouthful of prettyness

I've always wanted a nice bike like that.

All I can do on my cheap meta heavy shit bike is go down/up stairs, do some epic jumps but I'm hesitating on trying to do some little stunts.

It's an old piece of shit you've got no idea. But the thing is it's so small for me now (I grew) so I can do some nice stuff with it that I couldn't if it were taller.

So that's good or bad?

It can be adjusted BTW. So you can make it really stiff, or ridiculously soft.

it's not that great.  as i said, you'll be doing XC biking and definitely no downhill or freeride stuff.  still a lot of fun to be had though.
