I'm surprised you haven't killed yourself yet, Mek.

Wait, surprised isn't the right word. I was looking for "disappointed" I believe.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

I do agree that their earlier stuff is more "raw," but the faux-crossover/genre-blend was done exceptionally well and is also deserving of praise. I suppose you prefer artists to never move to new grounds and instead reproduce the same style and sound throughout their entire career.
Yeah, because you know I listen mainly to artists such as Aphex Twin and u-Ziq that have never changed their sound, and certainly never embark on entire new sounds for each new album. Ahahaha. Plus Poschy all I see you talking about in music recommendation threads is ultra-predictable hipster electro-shit that is still using the same 3 MicroKorg synth settings that it was in 2005 with MSTRKRFT, so shut the fuck up.

Congratulations Uzique, you win at spotting the irony. I did mean to point out that most artists evolve, how clever! Suddenly mainstream is synonymous with shit, oh I was unaware. Again I feel a breeze; irony blowing in. That statement shows that you do what you do to be an ultra-trendy "hipster," otherwise you would have no qualm with "mainstream" (hardly) music. Instead you would ignore it, like 99% of the other true underground music lovers. Oh and fucking lol for bringing up Aphex Twin, the most mainstream IDM there is. That's enough, go back to the closet.
