I can actually agree with this, as a full ban would be ridiculously useless. I think that stopping guns from the US getting into the hands of Cartels is important, but there is no way that the US is the major supplier of their automatic weapons and more powerful military weapons such as RPGs and hand grenades, which would be a ridiculous accusation, as those are not in any way readily available in US gun stores. It does seem that it would be acceptable for our government to help control the acquisition of handguns and other regularly available small arms to the Drug Cartels and such though.
Finally something somewhat sane from the Obama Administration.
