Sense------------------|-Money
It is not availabe in local retail stores here yet or on NewEgg, Buy.com, Amazon. Other than hte price, I am debating to get the G19 or settle with the G15. The G19 requires AC power which I do not want to plug another device in the UPS and another cord dangling from the computer desk.
WAT G19 needs AC power? now THAT is fking genius Logitech...

Too elaborate and unnecessary.

I'm still not buying it until it drops in price though.

you said G18 (which has an identical screen to G19)

I'm broke anyway, doesn't matter whether I want it or not
I have that sort of money, but even I can see it's a waste. I mean, 5000 dpi? At 2800 dpi I'm already setting in-game detection to almost minimal.
The only bit I like is the keyboard. It's hard as hell to plug in the G9 every time I use it over the back of the desk into the back of the computer. Having usb ports on the back of the keyboard would make life a hell of a lot easier. (even though you can find that sort of thing for a lot cheaper. Meh.)

True but you can look at YouTube or p0rnvideos on the G19 keyboard's LCD screen while playing computer games. I think I can multi-task thatGC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

mx310 and generic keyboard for me. Expensive input hardware like that seems like a huge waste of money if what you're using currently already works to your needs.
It is now 1.5 months later, and it still looks hideous.
Might get the G35...been looking for a good headset for a while.
Ditto, it looks pretty nice.Poseidon wrote:

man 2000dpi is hard enough to slow down. I guess it depends on the resolution you use.Freezer7Pro wrote:

And that headset looks fucking horrid.

Fast mouse speed = win.
Pretty much. Besides, DPI != Speed. TBH, I use the higher DPI more in very low speed situations, a la precise graphics. Even though I'll set the sens low and DPI high in any FPS, I would hardly notice the difference between 4k and 2k DPI.robcr9 wrote:

I run 1:1, and 1800 is barely enough. I'd love a MX500 case mouse with 3000.Defiance wrote:

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
My Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse 3.0 is 400dpi.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Rofl. No wonder in games my sensetivity is around half.
The mouse looks really small, to me.
Unless you fuck with the settings, higher DPI means the cursor will move faster. Just FYI.Finray wrote:

Yeah, so if I have a lower DPI, it means I have to put the sensetivity up in games.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Also, does having a higher DPI mean, for example, if you're scoped in a rifle, you can adjust your aim better? It's hard to explain, but I move the mouse as little as possible, the it moves the crosshair by about a pixel or two or whatever, does having a higher DPI mean you can move it in smaller amounts?
