Yellow was the bee's fucking knees. That was my first Gameboy Colour game, and fuck me it was amazing!!!!!! I got the Silver and Crystal but they were shit compared to Yellow. I mean, you had a giant Pikachu following behind you the whole entire game, it was that fucking awesome!!!
I remember Pikachu being shit against the first boss, so I caught a metapod, and spent like 2 hours levelling it up till it became a butterfree or whatever it was called. It was a great game.
