yeah about to watch the wolverine one or watched the first five minutes of it last night about it watch it now again, and they already changed a lot of content its not how the cartoon or how the comics portrayed wolverine. Bad start also the Wolverine one is not completely rendered the CGI so will see how it looks when its done.

Watched the new fast and the furious today.
Cars and guns, the movie.
Not saying it was bad, decent acting and cool stunts and all that jazz. Cars weren't that great unfortunately, but were still very nicely done.
8.5/10

X-Men Origins: Wolverine  8/10

They got some stuff right in the movie and they got some stuff wrong they could have made the movie much much much better.... out of all the Xmen movies this might be the best one me thinks. Bu there is room for improvement, they kind of did their own thing and didnt really follow the true story of how Wolverine was created in some extent they did but in some they didnt could have been better like I said dont want to reveal any details for those who havent seen it. But yeah go see it, not a bad flick.

Hancock failed, so did Transporter 3 and Wanted was average. Shooter was average as well.

The only one you got right there was Role Models.

There is no right and wrong in opinions.

Slumdog Millionaire 3/10 - Boring and overhyped.

Fast and the Furious 10/10-  Entertainment, shit acting, hollywood explosions. Perfect.

Just seen Gran Torino.

The film had me on edge the whole way through. Definitely going to remember it for a long time. 5 stars definitely.

The new Star Trek.

Very nicely done. Geeks/fanboys/Trekkies...be prepared to have the Star Trek universe you have come to love turned upside down, in a good way. One of the biggest problems J.J.Abrams was going to have was dealing with the twats who would say "You can't do that because in episode [place number here] from season [place number here] they had [place situation here that contradicts something in this movie in such a miniscule way but is still brought up by geeks because they have nothing better to do] and so that makes what happened here impossible". Well, they fixed that nicely. I am a big Star Trek fan (but not a ST nutter) and I loved it. Can't wait for future films.

What about non fans?

I'm not a fan of the shows at all.... seems like a lame Star Wars rip off to me most of the time.  But I saw the trailer and I like almost everything JJ Abrams does so... do you think non ST fans will enjoy it as well?

I think they will. The whole idea was to attract a new support base and not rely on just fans of Star Trek. Of course it's a little diffucult for me as I am not part of the new demographic they are aiming to draw into the fold. However, from what a few of the people who were there that were not ST fans said, it will appeal to all. Some of the lines will not mean as much to them if they haven't seen it before, but that will not affect the enjoyment of a great story and the start of what I feel will prove to be an excellent new franchise.

By the way, comparing Star Wars to Star Trek is always tricky. I like both but realise that the writing and story lines in ST were always more superior to SW. Star Wars is to Star Trek what "The Da Vinci Code" is the "A Tale of Two Cities" (and not the version Frasier Crane did on Cheers either ). Both are good reads, but one is a classic and the other pure pulp fun.

Star Trek is only a "classic" in the sense that sci fi fans worship it.

Star Wars was a pop culture phenom, also an epic. meh.

Once Upon a Time in America, 3.5~ hour Director's cut - 10/10
Simply put, one of the best films I have ever seen. If you liked Goodfellas or Godfather, check this one out, since it blows them both out of the water.

Fargo - 9/10
Shocking film depicting the RL murders which happened in Minnesota in 1987. A very believable movie, and I say that not simply because it's based on real events, but also because it feels real; the dialogue & characters lack that stereotypical "hollywood" touch.

Good movie, but just a bit too long and not enough plot for me.
