If it ain't broke... ride it because pretty soon you not going to be able to buy it.

the CNBC guys say this is just setting the stage for a controlled bankruptcy of GM and that nothing is going to stop it.
I have to agree with Kudlow on this one, why are we throwing billions in bridge loan money to GM just so they can have a softer landing in bankruptcy.

The way things are going the entire country is going to be bankrupt if we keep guaranteeing a bottom for all these dead companies.

They are saying that GM will be downsized about 50%.... With Saturn and Hummer on the chopping block

Bye BYE H2 hummer and good riddance

When these things get down to about $1500, I'm going to buy one and chop the roof off and make it my beach vehicle. I'm sure the sand will make short work of the spinners ROFL

EDIT: BTW that H2 is probably $45k without the "improvements" and gets only 12 mpg. No need to wonder why GM is going under.

And he was ostracized for it. I mean, not JUST for that...but he was considered "too liberal".
Isn't that what party zombies invariably do to people who don't toe the line?
Rubbish them and try to get them replaced with someone even more brain dead?

Hmm...depends government failure can cause death and suffering, but so can economic failure.  I'd call it a draw

Then state that and explain why, instead of just "I hate whoever".

I agree.
And now Facism, seriously people wtf?  I know you liked having your lives controled by bush, but really wanting a dictatorship is kinda extreme right even for you guys
Not Fascism or Totalitarianism. Just no parties.

In governments purely elective, it [the spirit of party] is a spirit not to be encouraged.

Or come back stronger then ever and govern from closer to the centre. The Democrats simply had to claim the middle ground and had huge support because the Republicans have moved further towards the right of the political spectrum.

The GOP is not dead. Obama taking the white house and the Democrats taking congress is only going to led up to Republican uprising in the future where they will take back control of at least the congress.

But I did actually change parties the other day to Republicans and when I signed up for the GOP website. They later sent out a survey for all their members and some of the answers to the survey were just ridiculous.

McCain and Palin moved further towards the right with the sabre rattling talking up conflict with Russia, Iran and North Korea.

That H2 isn't a real car. hehe.
