Anybody see Ovechkin's celebration on his 50th goal? I can't believe people are making a big deal about this. The first thing that came to mind was Selanne throwing off his glove and using his stick as if it were a gun. Then I think it was Hejduk that dove into center ice and started to swim. And that guy on I think it was Ottawa, his son plays for Ottawa now at least, that just jumps as high as he could. I don't remember anybody ever making a huge deal about those, hell we all just laugh about it. TSN was mentioning that the NHL is going to look into it but I'm going to be pretty pissed if they do something about it. NFL is already baby enough for fining people for celebrating "too much," the NHL better not be like that.
Just for Tmo. (not that he is ever here. why would a mod be on this site? cough parker cough)
St. Louis is actually fighting for a playoff spot

Same goes for every other team in the west.
Bruins actually looked good today, yay! Kind of weird to not have another game until Saturday though, what am I supposed to do during the week?!

the blue jackets have calgary on thursday. and if you look at the standings, that is a playoff matchup currently.FrankieSpankie3388 wrote:

No way I can watch it in Boston, I don't have the NHL package.
Man talk about an awful 100th season. It's truly turing out to be a 100th season to remember, at least for Bruins fans and other Habs haters.

This is most likely going to be the first decade of Montreal's existence that they didn't win a Stanley Cup.

I saw the highlights for that, sucks that Columbus looked like they dominated the game too. TB only had 10 shots from the start throughout half way through the 3rd.

well it is true they lost. but, a two game road trip they got 3 out of 4 points out of the conference. good enough tbh. plus they spanked calgary tonight, which is in the west and more important.
Columbus 5, Calgary 0
I want to fucking cry right now...
+1 to Columbus for epic ass kicking

Good job to Steve Mason to be the first goalie in almost 40 years with 10 shutouts in his rookie season.

Mason's freaking incredible. If he doesn't get the Calder I'll take a gigantic shit on...whoever/whatever committee chooses who gets the awards.
Seriously, no rookie has even come close to what he's accomplished.

Okay okay okay...the first part, I'm with you. As far as the second part, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves...Poseidon wrote:

The Blues are gonna have a helluva time with this home & home set vs. the Jackets. I'm just hoping for 1 win out of the 2, and I think they'll still make 8th place.
I hope Oshie gives Mason the ol' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5QAT3oZH18 treatment, but I doubt he'll let someone make him look bad like that.
