at this rate I'm going to have to take ATG into a back room and do naughty things
edit: and Flecco is going to have to join us
I know you are not.Flaming_Maniac wrote:
I'm not sure where you got off thinking I'm religious.
Basically. I'm pretty bored right now and seeing how far I can go with you until you decide to quit is amusing to me, in a way sorta.Flaming_Maniac wrote:
So where is the problem? Or are you just asking random questions.

That sounds like a text book definition of a troll tbh.Macbeth wrote:

Not really. Trolling has a different point to it. I'm not trying to get FM to rage I'm just seeing how long until he just gives up.ATG wrote:

Actually, I consider 'seeing how far' you 'can go until' FM quits trolling. Pretty much testing his patience. FM wont rage because he's a rather patient, logical kinda guy. Then again, you are very different from CDOGMN or other people that were considered trolls.Macbeth wrote:

He usually doesn't.

You could clean it up with you mod powers or rerail it.Flaming_Maniac wrote:
Yeah, I don't, except now I have to leave irl and you killed the direction of the thread.
Eh we have different definitions of trolling then. But FM would rage at some point, everyone has something that will piss them off to a point where they break.Flecco wrote:

They tend to have better things to do. Besides, Derailing and Serious Trolling is impossible to clean up. The job would never end.Macbeth wrote:

It's possible to clean up just takes effort.Flecco wrote:

How so?Flecco wrote:

Well CDOGMN, or any name with a variant of CDOG in it cannot be used as an account name now.Macbeth wrote:

Wouldn't that just make you indecisive or apathetic?Flaming_Maniac wrote:

So in that case all of your views are based on what your parents think or are they based on your want to rebel against your parents?Flaming_Maniac wrote:

You highly underestimate the influence of parents on their children.
Or are you such an advanced being above all others that only you can make up your mind on things at a young age?
Ted you sure that's a good idea?FatherTed wrote:

I know very well of cdogmn, I've been here awhile. I was just curious as to how you would describe me.Flecco wrote:

The saga of C-Dog is a pretty hefty one. Basically over the course of a year he created 30+ accounts and repeatedly spammed/insulted the administrators and moderators. Started off as a bit annoying, then went to hilarious and finally ended up being quite a tragic story of how seriously some people take the internet and how much rage it can inspire in some people.
Eventually he became a sensible member of the forums. Think he's gone now though.
You... Well for a starters you contribute fairly sensible discussion points. You don't spam. You're fairly mature and you are going to design a contagious toxin for me to use on the ants in my area one day. I just think that testing somebody's patience is the sum total of what a troll does. Tests people's patience and tolerance. A murderer is a murder is a murder, no matter the motive.

About the whole "You NEED to read the bible in order to make up your mind about religion" part is rather silly.ATG wrote:
What's a matter, did you just realize that claiming to be an atheist without having read the Bible means your whole point of view is based on ignorance?
These are widely noted miracles in a few different religions. Buddha did them too from what I've heard. Never tracked down a proper Buddhist religious text though.Zefar wrote:
Jesus probably never existed. Like come on, SON OF GOD, healed the sick, walked on water, turned water to wine and lots of other things.
Going on what a christian friend has said, that's wrong. The gospels were mostly written after Christ's death by some of the disciples, then when the Bible was put together by the Romans for political reasons 250 years later those four gospels were chosen for the way they portrayed Jesus. All been translated about 800 times too. The gospels you are referring to were actually written around 150 years later and are apocrypha. Some claim Jesus was homosexual/a pedophile, while others just focus more on Mary Magdalene and her relationship with Jesus.Zefar wrote:
NO ONE decided to write this down either. No one. It turned up in a book like 100 years later or something thou.

I can see where one might come to that conclusion but it is not totally true, in fact not true at all. Christians(Im going with the Catholic teaching, but thats another story) believe that if a man works hard, he should get what is justly his. If he harvests a crop he should be able to sell it and porvide for himself and his family, not have it taken away and given to somebody else. Now for the 'help your fellow man' part. We should help our fellow man. Its tough to understand. You should help someone because you want to, not because 'God told me to' or 'God made me'. God doesn't make or force anybody to do anything. Extremely rarely does God talk to anybody, and if he does, the person being talked to does not go on TV or write NY Times best-sellers on how they are so holy.Macbeth wrote:
