Not sure how the affiliation works with BF2S and Game-Monitor, obiously it is nice to be able to see what server people on your leader board are in to join them. But has anyone noticed this at the top of game-monitor:
BF2 Aimbots and ESP
Multiplayer aimbots and ESP for BF2. Punk buster proof.

Thats real nice having a stand up site like BF2S affiliated with a site that takes money from someone ruining the game. I guess if your dumb enough to go there and pay them an outragous amount of money to download their viruses you should just get right in line on the lawsuit the owner is facing.

All they are are google ads. They just search google and display the top results.

Ok so the $$ you get from being a google affiliate is worth more then your sites integrity is what your saying? Obiously there is a filter set up because they are only displaying BF2 type links, so they should be able to filter out HACKS, CHEATS, etc....

Not to mention it is pretty sad that msx is a big hitter on google, just goes to show how many people are looking for some downloadable skill.

I am happy to say that I cannot find the ad you are referring to. But believe me if it were on either this site or game-monitor and the admin could do something about it; they would.

Neither Game-monitor nor BF2s has anything to gain to have any affiliation with hacks and cheats whatsoever. That would be insane. Cheats is only 'fun' for a very limited number of players and ruins the game for the majority. When the majority of gamers quit because they feel the game isn't 'fair' anymore, community and support sites as aforementioned will cease to exist.

So no one here will support those sites, moreover we motivate our community to act against it (http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=16739). Hope that satisfies your feeling of injustice.

Thanks for spotting it and please don't hesitate to contact the admins of either BF2s or game-monitor when you come across such intolerant links again. I don't know how they can solve it, but I am sure they will try to.

the ads are shown to pages that they match keywords for arn't they?

if so it doesnt actually say bf2 in the stats page anywhere so it should show up.

I wasent trying to say that cheating is ok or anything i was pointing it out sorry if it was taken the wrong way. It is just not something I had expected to see while trying to find my buddy playing. And I have not seen it since. If I catch it again I will get a SS of it.

Also I was not saying that Game-Monitor is getting paid to have the ad up I meant that people are stupid enough to pay for something (Downloaded skill) load it on there computer and not put any thought into what they just did. Then pitch a fit when they figure out the only thing that got hacked was them.

Also I only posted here because I wasent sure how to get ahold of the game-monitor peeps.
