If the OP wanted to stop "non conservatives" from posting, he should go create his own forum. Until chuy changes the name of this forum to "Sarah Palin's Mystical Wonderland", I'll keep posting.LividBovine wrote:
Please explain what the OP meant then.Poseidon wrote:
It's not "pandering", it's reaching out to people to progress as a party and as a nation. Something you obviously are against, because you like a few others here, have your political blinders on so tight that they're keeping the blood from flowing to your brain.LividBovine wrote:
NO, Pandering to people for their vote has killed the Republican party. BTW did you read the OP. This thread is not for the republicans, it is for true conservatives, of which you are not any where close. Either is McCain.
How very neo-con of you though, trying to stop people from posting in a thread on an open forum. Nice! Very nice.
And you and the rest of the self proclaimed "true" conservatives are nothing of the sort. Stop making a fool out of yourself.
I am simply someone who likes to keep his principles first and everything else second. If I start changing my views because they are not in agreement with the masses, I am a fool. I base my beliefs on everyhting that I know is true. You want to challenge my principles? You want to tell me that standing up for what you believe in is wrong? You want to tell me it is a good idea to follow the masses? Great idea.
Nobody's saying you have to change your principles, but to not reach out and work out an agreement with moderates is 1) Why you lost the election and 2) idiotic. You can't have everything your way, sorry.

Obama won the moderate vote by quite a bit. You still think sticking your fingers in your ears and saying "Nonononono I'm right you're wrong" is going to help you? Great idea.
There are a couple other statistics there I find kind of funny, but I'll save that for another thread.
