What's the deal with this company right now? Are they dying? Are they going to be bought by some random billionaire from india (idk)
I amm wondering cus I might by a pontiac GTO and I don't want to own a car from a company that goes out of business, as the resale will probably be like 1/8th what I pay.

They won't disappear just declare bankruptcy, lay off 90% of their workers and reorganize. Your warranty might be voided though.

I don't think it will go out of business ... it will probably end up in Chapter 11 (restructuring) at some point, however. This company has got to restructure its operations and obligations.

They're getting rid of Saturn and Pontiac and just keeping the pontiac name but not as a seperate company.

2004 2005 and 2006 are the model years i was looking at, 2004 are much cheaper tho so mostly just 2004.

The 21st century GTO is essentially a left hand drive Holden Monaro, itself a coupe variant of the Holden Commodore

The Commodore is Australia's highest selling car, so parts and repairs are nice and cheap. Also the Monaro was discontinued in 2005 so their is no real 2006 model.
