Man who has probably the most high pressure job on the planet has beer. BIG FUCKING DEAL! What do these people want? A president who sits behind the oval desk in a zen like state of readiness 24/7.
Well, we voted for "CHANGE" after all.JahManRed wrote:

At least he's not on a semi-permanent holiday in Texas.HollisHurlbut wrote:

Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
There was never any such thing. Wherever a President goes, he has everything he needs to fully execute the duties of the office...even on a ranch in Texas...like LBJ did.Flecco wrote:

Isn't that who you were talking about?

I didn't realise the role of US President required you to be teetotal.
And you thought it was just place of birth that kept you from running for Presidency.Braddock wrote:

It doesn't. Teetoatlers piss me off to no end. I do think it was poor judgement on his part though. Here the country is in this huge 'crisis' to use his own words and he out fucking around enjoying a beer.Braddock wrote:

Rumour has it our political leader has been doing all his drinking behind closed doors (and in much larger amounts)... that worries me more than a social drink during down-time.DBBrinson1 wrote:

Also, didn't Bush spend most of his time clearing brush and chillin on the ranch while the nation was at war and in the grip of the biggest security crisis since Pearl harbour?

Nice to see you saw the humour in my post. I was getting the flame suit ready too.

Apparently Clinton (according to a secret service agent) was quite the drunk too (behind closed doors).Braddock wrote:

Clearing brush is a bit different than going to a basketball game drinking a beer. One is entertainment involving a mind imparing substance (that hurt to type) and the other is manual labor. Who knows, maybe that was how Bush though through stuff while working the ranch. Just because he was at Camp David didn't mean he stopped caring about the nations problems.
