The Rangers shot themselves in the foot by getting rid of Prucha and Dawes for two rentals (Antropov is decent but Morris is meh) and the Islanders got little back for our freaking captain.

I honestly didn't see the Jokinen trade coming. At all. Then again it was trade deadline day...fuckin shit goes down.
Jokinen needs someone "mean" to coach him. A nice guy like Gretzky can't get 100% out of him. And now that he's back under Keenan he will improve a lot. And now that he finally is going to play in the playoffs I think he will be a great asset to the team.Rohirm wrote:

I hate Detroit so i enjoyed cheering loud and proud for the Columbus boys
plus there was a group of about 20 people in the section above me who were all Columbus fans and were rocking the Joe Louis arena with chants and the wings fan couldn't do anything about it haha
edit: oh and John Tavares just beat the all-time goal scoring record in the OHL
