sup /b/f2s/ ?
I have a problem with my BF2.
When i play, for example on Kubra Dam on =BF30= ranked server for up to 40 players, i have only about 40-50 fps, but is sometimes goes down to about 25! When I run dedicated server (or however you call that) and i 'explore the dam' alone (which is quite complicated object for a graphic card) i have the fpses on 100, sometimes they go down to 80. Why is there such a big difference? Is it because my PSU has only 420W? (but its good quality PSU) On the other hand, the FPSes are much better on single player.
My internet is 1Mb/s, with a Wi-fi dongle placed about 7 metres from the router (I have no lags and I have the same ping as i had when i played 'on cable' ) Router and Wi-fi card are n draft range.
My PC is quite powerful (especially for BF2), here are its specs:
AMD Phenom X4 9850
4GB 800Mhz Patriot RAM
Gigabyte mobo with 790FX chipset
Gigabyte Radeon 4850 1 GB and overclocked (OC by the manufacturer)
320 GB WD HDD running on SATA2
Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit SP1
PS
of course I had the graphics settings on everything on max, AA x8, 1280x1024 75Hz, Audio settings on Very High (have X-Fi)
