Okay, well i know a lot of you guys have a job, so why not post a few pics of where you work and maybe a short description.
Please keep it repectful and dont slag off other peoples places of work or firm they work for. Remember, everyone has different preferences in life!

...and going back onto the Southgate Shopping Centre Redevelopment job (Bath) after doing Blocks B & C, Im now going to be doing G :D

Ive worked on all of those projects, as a draughtsman/CAD Technician, building up a 3D model of the building and producing all of the layout drawings of the building (from a steel POV), detailing all of the connections/joints and getting all of that to the works.
Thats my job, in a nutshell :)

3D CAD system that we use: StruCAD, which includes previews of the system I operate.

Placement, working there for a year, if they like you, you then get offered a place on the grad scheme. They do all their recruiting for full-time through placement students now apparently

No pics of my old job but the office looked like every other construction site/yard office on the planet. The job sites were typically in gardens (I was part of a housing improvement project run by a mining company) because at the time we were erecting veranda/patios based in concrete slabs.

So basically my work sites were 4 by 6 100ml holes in the ground in gardens.

Oh and there was the boat. No pictures of that either.

LOL, the explosion was in Block B...right smack in the middle of my first block. When I started C, and now G, people just say "hope it doesnt catch fire this time...". Bastards. Was announced on the national news on the radio on my way home that night...was like WTF!

That building is nothing to do with us, but I believe its a new bus station. Havent been to Bath for a long time...is this the one you mean:

On the side of the road tbh. this was a lot of fricking fence to prep, prime and paint. it was cold and wet the whole job. we were finish painting in the pics. first is after a bunch of fence.
