Let's see, I live in a bowl. I live next to a lake. That lake is higher than my bowl and would fill it up easily. I rest my faith on the government funded levies. Nope don't see a problem here.djphetal wrote:

Looks like the leeches get yet another extention of free living expenses at the hands of the tax payers.
Yeah I know it has been 3 and a half years since Katrina, and with all of the houses on the market, it must be hard to choose which house they want. SO they will stay leeching off of the tax payer until they decide. Thanks a bunch.
I had over 30 family members in that storm. My family lost 5 houses, numerous jobs, and massive amounts of material wealth for which they will never receive any compensation. They were lucky to have as huge a familial network as we do, because otherwise, a few of them would have nowhere else to go, no job, and nothing but FEMA's toxic trailers.
I've was in the south 3 months ago. From New Orleans west through Alabama, the whole place is still nothing what it was before Katrina. The rebuilding that is being done is by the richest people with the money to reinvest in a life there, they are not building businesses. They are not building low-income housing. They are building mansions and suburban ranches.
Shut up lowing, you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. Ever.
just not here, i don't want more violence and drugs where i live lol
i still can't believe people stayed for katrina though, putting faith in the levees lol
levees always breach in Houma when a hurricane comes
