They are just jealous.  The HTC has touchscreen and qwerty keyboard.  I have three HTC Fuzes for the family.

Thing is that, I don't even touch the phone to make calls.  HTC Fuze has Voice Command.  I just press the button on my bluetooth headset, tell it to call by name, answer "yes", then I'm connected.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

I was replying to Freezer7Pro's remark about having to dial a phone number.

Besides, Voice Command is different.  It doesn't require an outside service, voice training, or any pre-recording.  Just advanced voice recognition.

OK, find me a phone from the late 90's that has a self contained voice command feature that works as well as the ones from the last few years.  Not using a service, tags or training.  And must work through  a bluetooth headset.

It's nothing advanced. The phone just knows the approximate waveform of the word "yes". Perhaps not even that, as all it needs to know is the difference between "yes" and "no"; high tone and low tone. It wouldn't surprise me if you could just say eee~ and it'd still take it as a yes.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It's more than that.  It's actually a program from Microsoft called Voice Command.  For example, in my address book.  I have Barack Obama in the address book with phone numbers for his home, work, cell, car, company, work2, home2, radio, assistant.  I would say, "Call Barack Obama at home", system would ask me to confirm, I'd answer "Yes" or "Next".  No training, no tagging, or special service.  Yes, this feature has been around for the last 3 or so years though, but buggy until just the last year or so.  Definitely not in the late 90's.

most tech section members don't even need a 3 year warranty as they get rid of their card in half that time.

Well, XFX, eVga and BFG are lifetime warranties, at least here in the States.  It's not so much how long you will use the card, but rather, how confident the manufacturer is with their product.  In my case though, I usually leave the graphics card with the build.  New build, new graphics card.
