Radeon X300 Lowest to Maxed settings Incl. FPS

RookTgz: The Rookie; +8|5750

I thought this would get a rise out of some of you, all rendered on a 17" screen. Shader Model 2.0 GPU

Lowest settings @ 640x480 with 20-40FPS depending on area. Inside Broadcast I get 60+ lol, Downpour I get high -teens.

I got a Radeon HD 4670 coming in a couple days, will update...the reason for this particular card is it requires no PCI-E 6-pin power connector and is more powerful than the 9500GT (in benchmarks) which also doesn't require a 6-pin PCI-E connector. Its also better than 3850's 1900XT's.

Feel free to pity me. Some karmas will cheer me up JK. But yes, I dont care for graphics too much, I just want those FPS!

Use direct links, so in imageshack click your picture, and when you've got it full size right click > view image, and copy that URL and stick it between img tags.

Okay bro Im starting to get impatient, about to call delivery guys to ask whats taking so long...enough screens! lmao

In other forums if you use large URL tags it will open in new window or tab whichever its set to in peoples browsers...right now it opens in same page. Im not sure if BF2S is custom though.

I agree with Uzique. I'd rather have the game look 10 times better than me have a 1.00000000000000000001 times chance of killing someone for setting the settings so low.

Anything over 60 will also be redundant.

To be fair on the other side of the argument, the modified-Quake engine that the CoD-series runs on does have 'sweet spots', certainly, but they're only really beneficial up to a point, i.e. when you want to be doing special jumps or when you want to achieve maximum ROF for your auto-weapons. I play maxed-out on my system though and can do the jumps using fps-capping and have a fluid rate-of-fire, so these redundant 'brag' pictures of supposed 'uber framerates' achieved using a mid-range card seem pretty silly.

Just seems like an arbitrary and pointless form of elitism/pro-leetness, in my opinion.
