Same applies to most animals. Yes, when it comes down to this, I have no morals. If a swan, one day, saves my life, I may look more lightly on it's case of "innocence".

Again, despite my love of animals, I could decapitate the swan if I was paid enough. The problem is that I don't think I could ever get over the sight of it. It's not even the whole "but it's so innocent" thing, it's the "i just sawed a poor creature's head off/hammered a frog to death" thing (i simply wouldn't slaughter some dogs with a chainsaw no matter how much you'd pay me).

If I knew the animal would be used for meat and whatever other reasons, I would probably do it for $10. If it's just for the sake of killing a swan for no reason, probably like $500k+.
