ooo that's nice. got too many dark jackets though

i used to have a lush white wool one, then it got stuck in with some cheapo blue socks. guess what happend next...
Damn, I know it sux when u got nice stuff and it gets ruined. A little bit of bleach didn't help? I mean, if it was white, bleach should fix it up?

I remember lookin at this coat about two months ago, and was thinkin of buying it even for $228!! Now, its $80! So, it is a must. I'm 5'6" and thin, I wonder if 38 short is small enough for me.

2 sizes bigger? I think you just may be almost as cool as the anorexics.
Oh yeah, I do. Oh wait, I have to buy all my clothes a couple sizes big, because, I am a big guy. I am 6'5" 240lbs. Plus the sizing here in the US is messed up. One company I wear XL in and another I have to wear a XXL. Just like shoes, Converse I wear a 11 1/2 and DC's I wear a 12.
You're right, it does differ from brand to brand, but maybe you should try the clothes on first before automatically jumping to the conclusion that you need it 2 sizes too large? Hell, I'm 6'3 and I wear L or sometimes even M and I look nowhere near "anorexic." But it's all down to personal preference, I suppose.

Quite same about me I think.
I don't quite now what size I am. At some companies, I'm S, and at others I'm M.

urgh, every lad and his dog has a superdry jacket, still nice though.

@ KJ i hadn't noticed that, cheers for pointing it out
SuperDry jackets aren't the annoying thing... it's those fucking Osaka t-shirts they do that everyone seems to have in multivaried colourschemes. Lol @ the notion of SuperDry being an example of an 'expensive' brand of clothing, especially when it's worn by literally everyone.

$55 dollars is a good price, the jacket looks... okay, I suppose, if it suits your tastes. Couldn't say much about the quality and fit of the thing though for that price, you get what you pay for really.
don't get me started on osaka shirts.
Agreed. I got a SuperDry jacket (before everyone round uni decided to wear them) but I wouldn't touch the osaka tshirts.

It's a design by SuperDry that seemed to gain a huge popularity. I have no idea why.

@James: You were wearing SuperDry jackets "before everyone around Uni started to wear them"? Are you always so ahead of the curve... like, with that Jack Wills wank? . Let me know how that goes for you.

SuperDry overall are a pretty /fail brand, I have a few nice thin-jumpers by them that are wearable when out and about, but nothing of great quality or decent material. This thread makes me feel like a right fashionista; when i see people claiming $250 dollars for a jacket being expensive, I think something is wrong with me. There probably is.

Oh yeah, I forgot to respond to you in that other thread. I know the Jack Wills cliche and it's not a 'that' expensive brand but compared to average price stuff / non-brand it is expensive. And yes I do realise that I'd just got into you and it's a 'lame' thing that 'everyone' does but I just felt like jumping on the bandwagon for once. I don't follow 'mainstream/fashion' I wear what I think looks good. I don't feel that should be a problem.

It's not an expensive brand, full stop. People that wear Jack Wills don't do so under the pretense that they seem rich or well-dressed, the Jack Wills cliche is one of a prep-fashion; people wear it because they style themselves after casual boarding-school loungewear or prep-smart fashion. The funny thing about this entire fashion choice is that they price their stuff so cheaply that all the state-school kids hop on the bandwagon because they think it makes them look like posh and well-dressed Uni students. Really, all it advertises is douchebaggery.

What SuperDry jacket do you have? I guess it's not alike in style to the jacket in the OP.

just to warn you yesstyle stuff looks nice but it falls apart pretty quickly

for $55 though it's a steal, and normally I wouldn't size up on a waist-length jacket but yesstyle is notoriously slim-fitting so go one up from your normal size.

I'd heard of JW before, but not really known what their stuff looks like, so I had a look at their site and it looks shit. And it's sold as 'university wear'. What a load of shit.

Not expensive compared to the 'top tier' brands yes but compared to what (IN MY EXPERIENCE) most university students wear, no.

I don't buy them for the "casual boarding-school loungewear or prep-smart fashion". Or to look like a "douchebag".

Regardless, you're getting all in my face about ONE item of clothing you've seen me wearing. I like to think and have good reason to believe that I'm well dressed, so keep your opinion as an opinion rather than having a go.
