Ya were 10 games behind... It sucks!
We won like 2 of our 10 last games, the team is in deep shit! We only have 6 points difference with the 9th position (panthers). Today Carbonneau cancelled the training and the team played bowling instead looll
i still see no way you wont make the playoffs. not to worry.Andoura wrote:

Tbh the only reason why we suck that much is because the power play doesn't work. We suck in pp, and it was the only reason for last season 1st place...

Don't forget Pekka Rinne in Nashville. He's posting numbers like a 2.33GAA, .920 save %age, with 4 shutouts. I want to know where these rookies are coming from. Hell, maybe Tuukka Rask will come into Boston next year and put up crazy numbers like these rookies too.usmarine wrote:
I don't know what it is with rookie goaltenders and Columbus. Mason made his first start against Montreal and won. LaCosta makes his first start against the Sharks and wins. Then has a shut out tonight against Colorado.

And about the Sharks game, it was an awesome game to watch. Definately one of the best games of the year with huge saves on both ends of the ice. I still can't believe Nabokov robbed Savard in the second stacking the pads. Savvy had him beat and even picked the short side out, just needed to get it a little higher. They pretty much fell apart in the third though which isn't a good sign. Their second goal was kind of a lucky bounce that ended up right on Marleau's stick and their fourth goal was a really lucky bounce that went off Thornton's skate and in. Can't win them all I guess. Just hope Julien whips them back into shape and Ryder makes a speedy recovery.
BTW, did anybody listen to the commentary about it after the game? First time the Bruins lost in regulation after leading going into the third period and probably more impressive: that was the first game this season that the Bruins lost by more than 1 goal. I hardly think Bruins have anything to worry about this lost.
Fact: Montreal is fucking terrible.

6-1, and the game's not even over.

I can't believe it. Srsly i don't know what to say.
There, there *pat pat*. Your team is now equally shit as mine But not as umm, how to put it nicely, ah, "handicapped" as PossidonsAndoura wrote:

Fun fact of the day. Olli Jokinen went to Phoenix and now Fla is really trying to make it to to playoffs. Phoenix is, well, trying and dying. That poor guy is probably never going to make it to the playoffs
Seeing how badly the Habs have been of late and the Pens all season, imagine if they both missed the playoffs. The top two teams in the east from last season both missing the playoffs this year. It'd be kind of funny tbh.
Tavares will take our handicap and cripple you with it.Ultrafunkula wrote:

Just tell him to shoot from behind his own net towards Lundqvist. Remember what your former Swede goalie did in the olympics a few years back?Poseidon wrote:

EEK! A puck!
Tommy Salo... lol
I think most Islander fans kind of prefer to forget his existance.
Like Ranger fans and Crackhead Theo.

I'd perfer Theo McFlurry any day instead of Sean "hey-a-camera-lemme-go-talk-shit-about-people-in-front-of-it" Avery who seems to be coming back to the organization. Yuck.Poseidon wrote:

I don't get why a majority of Ranger fans think he's going to be God's gift to MSG. He won't be. He'll be a detriment. He used to be a positive to them because he clicked with his teammates and had chemistry with them. Now they're going to insert him 3/4ths through the season and expect to be on their way to a Stanley Cup.
Sather's a dumbass.
So. Are the Habs going to lose their fifth game in a row and slip behind the Panthers when the kitekats once again go on a humiliation run on manhattan? NYR really need to get a better goalie than king Lundqvist. He is good but not good enough. Richter 2.0 is needed.
You've gotta be joking, lolUltrafunkula wrote:

Lundqvist is the ONLY (repeat: ONLY) reason you're not in 12th place right now
You have less goals for than you do goals against...lol
Gotta take back a bit. This was judging by his efforts against the habs one month ago. He just isn't good enough for stanley cup. Atleast at this point. Call me cynical but he is either too sure of himself or too arrogant. He was sucking pucks worse than a B-junior in that game. Don't know if he had a bad night or what, but from time to time he couldn't catch a fucking beachball. I miss MikePoseidon wrote:

Oh, he's arrogant, that's for sure. He fucking pulls himself out of games (something you NEVER do) and conveniently "has the flu" when a big game comes up against a tough opponent.Ultrafunkula wrote:

But he's one of the best, if not the best goalie in the league when he's on the top of his game.
Now you're just trying to get me happy since I'm a Rangers fan or fuck around because he's Swedish and I'm Finnish The best goalies I've seen live are Tim Thomas (the games already in Finland were proving he is one helluva goalie) Marty, Mike and a short magical man named Sakari Lindfors who fucked up his groins atleast as many times as Richter. With Lundqvist I'd go on the same page as Lehtonen. Condition of the day. When they're good, they are good. Lehtonen backed our rivals to a championship as a teenager. He used to be a product of our junior team but when he was 15-16 he deflected the bastard.Poseidon wrote:

Oh, shit. Forgot Hasek. Saw him back in 90 something. One thing I dont't understand is Toskala in the NHL. I'd actually put Norrena higher than him. No matter what marine says.
