Kipper needs 20 wins in 34 games, basically 3 decisions over .500; starting every win, which is not out of the question for the man who has 46/48 starts.

So how about those trade rumors? I usually like reading them from credible sources but from a site I like to go to a lot, they posted a rumor sending Malkin to Montreal lol. To top it off, whoever wrote the article, probably some Montreal fan, said they could get Malking for 1-2 draft picks and 1-2 wingers. Hah, they wish. Some of the other trade rumors aren't serious too, I wish people would stop making stuff up, like Brad Richards to Montreal? yeah, let's send our best player to Montreal for a couple of prospects once we finally worked our way back into the playoff picture. That makes sense.
I still want to know where people came up with the Lecavalier trade to Montreal. Just because he was born in Montreal doesn't mean he's going to be traded there. He has a huge contract and is the captain of Tampa while obviously being their best player of their short history. Let's trade away pretty much all that the franchise has to look forward to for prospects again...

I don't know what it is with rookie goaltenders and Columbus. Mason made his first start against Montreal and won. LaCosta makes his first start against the Sharks and wins. Then has a shut out tonight against Colorado.
