I hear it will run Crisis on Very High w/ 45 fps! (1920x1200)
No but really, I wonder how many points it could generate if you had it folding...

Old joke is old. Crysis gets spanked with today's hardware.GodFather wrote:

It's not made for that kind of processing, so while it would be a fucking lot, you could do better for that price. Like, 20,000 GTX295's on a linux cluster.GodFather wrote:

I know of a Q9650+tri-sli GTX280 rig that's just awesomeness on a stick when it comes to Crysis with all the settings turned to 11.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:
meh Crysis at very high with AA is still a bit too much for anything else than Max's GTX 295 SLi... if u drop the AA its very playable at very high... minor slowdowns with AA... And I don't like slowdowns....
My buddy has a AMD PHII 940 with a GTX295 and runs Crysis maxed with full AA with average of 50FPS or so. Only DX9 settings though, but oh well.Scorpion0x17 wrote:

Well in DX9 mode my rig got really nice framerates but in DX10 and AA and very high at higher resolution it gets ugly in big firefights.CrazeD wrote:

and Ioan92: in DX10 mode and 1680x1050 and 4xAA and over 50fps average? I doubt it....
I need the minimum fps to stay over 25 in big firefights to call it smooth... sure if 30fps average feels smooth for you.....
Mmmmmm try 20-30.{M5}Sniper3 wrote:
