Reasons why its great - You actually feel like you are in a team, everyone works together, conversations over VoiP are funny, NO N00BS AT LAST, realistic, makes things like observing for snipers/team fun because you know you are actually helping out and players will thankyou for it, no bunnyhoping. I cant be bothered to list the rest but basically its good fun and its without all the shit that comes with vanilla.

PR is the only mod I've ever know to get less fun with ever update.

I played it last night (8.5).
I like the idea of the game, the teamplay, squadplay, the general point of the mod...
However, I feel the people playing it are wannabe army fags, that failed so bad at BF2 (1.41 Vanilla) that they turned to a mod based on well... I'm not quite sure
The squad I joined constantly flamed me over VOIP for doing anything but running aimlessly through a massive wood, jogging as fast as you crawl in BF2...
The guns take about 3 seconds to zoom and everything seems to be designed for slow people...
It's a perfect game for the fail players/UK shitters that kick/ban public players from their servers for reasons such as Bunny Hopping, Dolphin Diving, having a KDR above 5 and shooting people in the face.
Good idea, however I felt that you really have to be fuckfaced whilst playing to enjoy it.

I think like irishpride said it is slow and not the type of game you can just pick up and quickly have a good game on so it would put a lot of people off, I've only played it about 3 times but it's good when your stoned because it gets you more involved in it and the pace doesn't bother me then. I think it would be better if you didn't need special kits to fly etc and the spawn times of jets are bad thats if you can even get one I think it's best as infantry with only cars etc but nowhere near as good as normal BF2 fun wise- you can still have good long games on BF2 with a bigger ticket count
It is a game, that needs Tactics and Teamwork plus the skills you need for Vanilla Gameplay (it needs even more, regarding the fact, that you can´t just hop in into everything like on Vanilla, where even the dumbest knows what to do in a minute). And it´s always funny to see those Vanillaheroes failing there, because they are used to easy arcadestyle Gaming, where victory is about only quick reactions and not brains. Glad to see, that those will stay at Karkand only...
