Was banned from a CoD4 server today...

And the reason is hilarious.

I was kicked for "3rd Party application"..

I went on the site.. and asked wtf mate?

The 'head honcho' came back and said.. "We observed a third party application on your screen. It was a rectangle in the lower right of your screen, and had blue and yellow lines at the top, and green lines at the bottom. Not knowing what this was, we were suspiscious and so you were banned."

For all non-pr0s, lagometer is something used to observe your connection, and if it has any lag, then the lagometer will show it, and you can get to cover. Came with CoD4, and has been in it since the beginning. It's enabled in the console. Ugh, when will admins learn enough about hacks to properly run a server..

Since I'm on W7, I can't use PB servers.

Do you want my config? I get >600FPS when looking at the ground, >400 inside, and >250 outdoors on 3.6ghz E5200 & HD4670.

But seem to get no higher then around 180 fps no matter what the screen res, which is fine with me, as I can run it at a very solid 125 at 1440 x 900. Not bad for a lapptop imo : )
