Dogs are unpredictable, how your fluffy pet behaves with you and with a stranger, especially a child, are two different things.
There have been plenty of cases of people who think they know their dog finding out they don't.
I've known and known of enough people having serious attacks that I don't want one in a workplace.
How is everyone who comes into contact with someone elses dog going to know what their instinctive responses are?Dogs, as with all animals, are creatures of instinct and training. Dogs can be trained fairly easily, but their instinct is only suppressed by training. Don't screw with their instinctual responses, and you'll be fine
