The sound quality is superb. Software is a bit fiddlely and the battery life could be better but over all simply fantasic.
Got my Samsung T220 today... its pretty awsome... only thing I don't like is the woggly stand.... not that bad but as my table is not very stable and tends to shake a bit when I use mouse, I put some extra support on the sides of the panel so it doesn't shake anymore.

EDIT: Oh, bought 6 of these and 6 of these for work, sadly work has a cheap as chips approach when it comes to I.T. gear but, they aint terrible for the money.

How do I view photos on a widescreen monitor without them being stretched? Thought I was quite savvy but haven't figured it out yet!!!!

I actually used Provantage, because whatever dispute Newegg seems to have with my bank is still kicking around (Amazon and others are happy enough to use it), but the Egg link has better info.
Pros: A week's worry put to rest with zero dead pixels. The sheer size of it is absolutely intimidating, but should be fun for the variety of games that my 6800 Ultra (for now) can drive at the resolution.
Cons: The sheer size of it makes dead-on viewing a must. From overhead, it merely looks brighter, but from slightly underneath, the twop two corners get a bit dark. As I have two primary viewing angles in the room, both with my head slightly underneath it, I'll have to devise a different, more flexible stand (or wall mount) for it. I would've paid an extra $100 if the stand was something other than a slide-on horizontal swivel disc.
Other Thoughts: I saw it coming, but I wish LCD manufacturers would stop giving us ridiculous stats for viewing angles, particularly when reviewers expose the dirt immediately. Wii's hooked up to component video, and I'll test it tomorrow night. CRT's not dead for me yet. I'll be fixing the Trinitron at the shop and continue using it for Photoshop. The screen isn't particularly glossy, which helps me in a room full of multiple light sources (sunlight staves away vampirism), but isn't as pretty as full-blown gloss under the right circumstances.

I got a gtx 260 yesterday and got far cry 2 also... I have it and was going to give it away to one of the Minnesota members if they wanted to stop and get it. seriously $40? i'd just go to the store and buy it then.
