There have been countless of times of me going 45mph in a 65mph cause some old lady was driving in front of me and I couldn't get over because the other cars in the left lane were going faster and it was hard for me to get around them. For an example I was going 35mph off an on ramp and the lady was still going 35mph after we merged SPEED UP it's not hard. So I think there should be a driver test at the age of 45 and every 8 years after that. It might keep these people that can't drive for shit off the road and very well may save a few accidents from happening. I know this has been discussed before but I'm not sure if there was a poll. Discuss.

>60
it really actually depends on driving experience and how many years you drive

That's why I'm going to attach a train horn to my truck.

Actually there should be yearly driving tests for 16-21ish. Idiots driving like maniacs. This comes from one of those former idiotic driving maniacs.

"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
I voted no because 45 is way too young. My mother is 50 and I'll still see her occassionally go 80 from time to time. She's usually at or above the speed limit. I'd say 60 would be the age to start doing this.
i remember seeing soem lovely stat over here, that everyone who's been driving for 8 years or over 30, 1/3rd of them would fail a repeat test

Over 60 perhaps. My parents are 50 and drive far better than the average driver out there.
My 84-year-old grandmother recently got a speeding ticket. She was going 130 in a 90 zone three times in one week.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Try like 60+
My first dad is like 60 and he drives pretty good I tell you.
My second dad is like 50 and he also drives good.
I also got two moms...But anyway after like 60+ you should check it again even if they are good drivers. After like 80+ or so I don't think they are THAT safe at driving too. For some reason I just don't see them being able to handle a car that well.

yeah more like 65+
65+ would be more appropriate me thinks.
lol you can fly a big ass fucking airplane till you are 65 and you want driving tests at 45?
It's always been my opinion that from the ages of 16 to 21 (or even 25) that drivers should take a yearly driving test. The same goes for 65 and up, maybe even 55.
Just look at the stats of amount of tickets or accidents for certain age groups, and then make them take more tests. Sure it'll be a pain in the butt, but it will encourage better driving. Hell, make people take a written test every year as well.

By the same token everyone under 20 should to.

No fuck off, I'm 33 and would fail if had to re sit in 12 years time, cheeky fuckers.
I really don't see the point. They'll just try harder for the test and once they've passed they'll start driving like shit again.
