Yup, they don't just pull randoms out of their homes and take them to Gitmo.

Chad is joint first place as being one of the most fucked up countries in the world. I doubt he was a charity worker...

the only person here who could have a credible opinion on how waterboarding is conducted during training is SERE. and I think that in SERE training they give you the full load, no such thing as waving up your hand and they stop, that's not the point of the training. waterboarding isn't going to kill you.
