He's a hero because he joined a volunteer force that has a high likelihood of being deployed to a war. He didn't join the intel, ceremony, musical, artillery, HR and finance, etc part of the Army. He joined a teeth group, and as such put himself in a high likelihood of danger. That's what heroes do. There is no factual hero, there is only opinions on that hero means.

Fought for what's right? What are you on about... Soldiers don't decide what to fight for, where, or when. Don't tell me to learn to distinguish with some vague point coupled with random examples.
