Good luck with the rubics cube if you even dare scrambling it
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
It's Bizarro Christmas here. The parents had to come wake up the kids so that we would get things started and open our presents.
- Bioshock [PC], Tekken Dark Resurrection [PSP] (I think my aunt must be stalking me, but in a good way; I had those on my newegg wishlist, but the only wishlist I mailed to her was my amazon one)
- shirts, pants, jacket
- money and gift cards (Fry's, Vans, Target)
Very good Christmas here I'm really pissed at myself for getting a speeding ticket though. I was hoping to auction some of my stuff and use my Christmas/birthday money on a PS3.

Some cash (about 100€), and i've ordered a Cowon D2 for that and some of my old cash.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Just got a text from my friend "U wont believe it m8! Gotta car! A renault clio!" I'm jealous.

What guitar do you play through that? That amp is a bit of a metal machine. I bought myself a Vox AC30 the other day to go with my new Telecaster, not as a Christmas present though- just something I have always wanted . Vintage sounds!JoshP wrote:

I was going to get an XS but the XTi is actually much better for 100 more.
The only thing it doesnt have is live view (who needs it on a DSLR- drains the battery) and image stabilizer in the lens. Which doesn't matter because im going to be replacing the lens soon anyways.
Ive been using it for a few hours its great.

yeah, it is a bit of a metal amp (i only really play metal stuff atm), although the clean channel with lots of delay sounds awsm too I'm using it with a Squier Showmaster (recently discontinued) which i bought second hand about 3 years ago. For fifty pence.Uzique wrote:

No idea what I'm gonna spend the money on though. Was thinking an HDMI hub and a few games.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
A lovely bottle of Talisker, which I'm working my way through now.

Last day of Winter term at Xmas me and some absolute drinking machines bred from the depths of Harrow/Eton/Chelts College had a bottle of Johnnie Walker blue label. That stuff is insane; I don't even like whiskey and needless to say I was a walking drunk for 2 days after.
