I used to drive for Domino's pizza back in '89, and delivered a pizza to the late Alan Kilwicki, Nascar driver. He looked hammered, did tip good though. His bill was like 18.00+ and gave me $40, biggest tip I ever got.
I'm probably one of the 3 people on these forums that thinks that's awesome.
Only famous people I ever met were hockey players. I've met Patrice Bergeron twice at my work, I work at a fancy appliance store an he's come for a new stove for his mom, he's so nice, and was looking around after his concussion around March. Got to talk to him face to face about how he was feeling which was really cool.
I played in a charity game with Black and Gold Legends along with several cast members from the original Slapshot movie, including the Hanson Brothers. Among those Black and Gold Legends that are big names were Pie McKenzie, John Bucyk, Gord Kluzak, and Andy Brickley. There were other big name players but I forgot who else was there. I played in 3 charity games against them.
Once I also helped Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" team USA hockey team, at work too. That was really cool, was shaking while I was talking to him I was so nervous.
