I've only done this once, but was unable to get the right screenshot for this, but this was quite funny to watch.
As an engineer, load up your Pickup with AT Mines. Try different spots on the pickup. Put all 5 in the back or all 5 on the hood. Make sure your target is lined up straight ahead of you.....usually a tank or APC. The main street in Warlord is probably the best place to do it....but the mines are very fickle things and tend to slip off if you accelerate too fast......you don't want to do that......yet. What you want to do is drive the pickup (with slow acceleration) towards the tank (hopefully towards his blind side) and about 10-20 meters away, make a hard turn to the right or left (Or full reverse, but riskier) to dump the mines in the direction of the armor. If he's moving and a mine slides towards him and touches the armor.....BOOM.
When I did this......it was at the back of the palace where I took the pickup from the shed loaded up the front of it with mines (just goofing off) and then decided to take the pickup over to the Mosque. The dirt road might have been a plus because the mines did not slide off until I rounded the corner at the back of the palace. Lo and behold, an attack buggy with 3 schleps coming to C4 the assets were heading towards me. Since I made the turn first, the mines slid off the Pickup to my left and right into the path of their buggy! I never laughed so hard for the next 5 minutes. The messages from the vics were "WTF was that?!?!". "That was me screwing off and actually getting 3 kills with AT mines." They had a good laugh when I told them what I did.
But now, I'm having a hard time duplicating this feat. Can anyone else give this a try? The dirt road might be a better option than the street. But I was lucky on that one. I was thinking that with practice, I might get good enough to take a tank out coming out of the SAS non-cap base. Then it might be worth doing it. Any takers? Anyone else pulled this off already? Got any pics?
