Okay, I was going to go with this:

https://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa178/Funky_Finny/rig.jpg

Is that all I'd need, including fans, cables etc? I'm going to use my old hard-drives, with XP on them.

The only thing is that's £30 over my budget, so is there a way I could get it lower?

Thanks.

Isn't this like the fourth last thread about your rig?

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Isnt Abit going bust or something?  If that board goes wrong I think you are screwed so far as a replacement goes.

Trust me when I say re-installing XP would be better.

I built my first computer with XP pre-installed, and it was just hassle and performed terrible until I reformatted.

That's another £30, and I just don't have that.

EDIT: I found one for just £5 more..

Asus P5QL Pro Intel P43 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

This just as good?

I've just noticed it only has two slots for cards, and a slot for a gfx card. Also, only two memory slots.

So I'm thinking, graphics card, internet card, sound card, I'm done for slots, and my 2x2GB memory would leave me without an upgrade, if I ever needed it.

Also, my first question, would I need anything else? I've got monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc, but is there anything else I'd need inside my case?

Nice rig bro'

Now to be serious,, You could easily spare alot of money if you swapped those RAM with some ValueRam, considering anything else you have chosen is "Value" minded, You won't really notice the slower RAM...

I am currently running with 300Mhz ram and I can still play Crysis on my old 7900GTO

Anyone played a custom BF2 map that looks exactly like that oil rig?

Noooo, 300Mhz is what my DDR was running on, and I would like to load a CoD4 map without being kicked because they think I'm inactive when I'm actually spending a minute and a half loading the map.....

lol that is not your Rams fault mate... thats more CPU and HDD related... My COD4 maps load in less than 5-10 seconds..

Current specs:
E6600
7900GTO
2 Gb ValueRam
Samsung 1TB HDD

edit: I also think you should stick with 2Gb of ValueRam since that will be plenty for that build...
