So many 8800GTX cards.... so cheap... 90€...

I could probably play just fine with it till DX11 comes... like Cod: WAW maxed out...

I would game so hard the next 3 months now that army is almost over... (will get loads of money to use on gfx card in late March... enough to get fastest GPU on the market don't ask where)

I CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE DAMN COD: WAW NAO BECAUSE MY GFX CARD DOES NOT SUPPORT SM FAIL 3.0

Also could use the 8800GTX on my secondary rig when I ditch it for GT300 (it would be ok gaming rig then 8800GTX, C2D, 4GB, X48 etc.) later next year.

I have sweet memories of my 8800GTX cards and I prefer their looks over 8800GT.

At 90€ they 8800GTX is hardly blowing my wallet and could indeed last till summer.

So does anyone have ideas how to make me not get that 8800GTX as my hands are really... trying... to... buy... it... damn MUROBBS... OC forum full of cheap and used graphics cards

Buy a 4870 1GB/GTX260 Core 216 now, sell it later...it's as simple as that. You can get enough back to buy the newest and best cards later.

Same engine, but the maps are fucking huge as fuck, which that engine was not made for. Plus it's seriously not optimized.

I have a friend with a 9800GX2 that gets around 60-80FPS on max settings.

it certainly would be hell lot of better than my X800XT PE that can't even launch the game. :S

Ah always great price drops... this time on nvidia cards. GTX 280 dropped to 312€.

Well it requires pixel shader 3.0 so they've done something different.

That it does, but I don't know why. CoD4 graphics look a helluva lot better and are less resource intensive that CoD5, so they fucked up somewhere.
