http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7787239.stmSterling has hit another record low against the euro following weak jobless figures and signs that the Bank of England is set to cut rates further.
The pound hit a low of 1.0756 euros before recovering to 1.0772 euros.
Right now: 1.00 EUR = 0.926531 GBP (92p) (according to XE.com)
What do you guys think will happen when (or if) the Euro reaches parity or becomes more valuable than the pound? Reckon we'll be switching to the Euro? I hope not...Euro sounds so gay and mainland (no wait, that should be: mainland gay)...
