To be honest if you're looking for help and guidance from 'scripture', you probably deserve to lose your job. If I was the manager looking around at economical and wise decision-making regarding job redundancies, I'd definitely axe the guy that takes instruction and advice in his job from some American bigots with a half-arsed religion borrowed from Europe.

No I'm not a Morrison's investor. My point is that there are tons of smaller more menial jobs available that would prevent him from falling through the net of fear that results in unemployment and failure to pay tha' billz. It may not be the ideal career choice but a lot of people work several part-time jobs in the middle of corporate obscurity in order to make ends meet; I'm trying to be (remotely) comforting with that thought, not disparaging.
