We've seen an historic landmark in politics this year with Barrack Obama's election to the office of President of the United States and I have to say hats off to the nation of America for being able to achieve such a thing when their troubled past is still a not too distant memory. It kind of exemplifies the unique ability the US has to continually reinvent itself and defy expectation. As someone who genuinely believed they would not live to see such a moment I got thinking about other things I don't think we'll see in this lifetime...
A black Prime Minister of Britain
An atheist President of the United States
Peace in the Middle East
An Islamic takeover of Europe
Man landing on Mars
A black person walking on the moon
...what other things do you think will not be seen in your lifetime?
