The British Government has agreed to give loyalist paramilitaries another year to decommission their weapons. Legislation facilitating the move expires in February, but Northern Ireland Secretary Shaun Woodward says he will extend the timeframe into 2010. Mr Woodward is insisting, however, that this extension will be a last chance for loyalists to avail of the protections included in the legislation.
Yawn... it's funny how most news sources make it seem like the Republicans are the ones not fulfilling their end of the bargain when there is talk of impasses and obstacles for the Government. These idiots have not turned over a single bullet and yet there's no problem with any of the Unionist political groups sitting down at the table for power-sharing.
