I just got a RADEON X800 GTO it plays all games great except bf2 which i am having to play on low!!!
with this new patch can i turn graphics up without worry of black polygons or other stupid glitches?

i've got the X800Xt Platinum and i'm getting no problems wot so ever now with graphics glitching. Things should be ok

I had the same exact problems with the X800 GTO.  but it only happened when I ugraded my memory to 2GB?  I Tried all the drivers, I tried Overclocking/Underclocking. The only thing I haven't tried is reinstall BF2.  Besides that It works all the time on low w/ no problem.  Sometimes it works on High and med w/ no propblems but if i restart the problems come back. I put my old memory(1 GB 2X512) back in and had no problemsbut then everything slows down again (Load time and what not)? Can anyone help?

i got an X800XT runs fine on high settings, how much RAM you got? Makes a difference, used to have to run on medium with 1GB RAM, just got 2GB and runs high smooth as a silk covered bar of soap in a bucket of particularly slippery lubricant.

It's possible that since the GTO comes standard with 12 pipes instead of 16 like the XT that may be part of the problem.  It is possible however to unlock or overclock your card to get 16 pipes... this may help increase your settings.
