Today, I, erm, "borrowed" 1x small transistor, 1x 5V voltage regulator, 1x 1µF capacitor and about 1m of cable from school, to put an active cooling system in my UPS. It works awesomely awesome, but it took a little while to find out which relay it was that turned on when it goes on battery.

Took me and a mate about six hours to find out,

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. Lexmark printers are so cheap (their price). I know a buddy of mine bought couple of cheap ones with free cartridges and when they were empty, he just threw the printer away and bought a new one with full cartridges-cartridges were more expensive than the printer!

Fuck that was fun.

Showed up at Walmart at 1:00, they were letting people inside. Found a friend, and we were throwing a plush football around until about 2.

I waited by the stack of 360's, and there were only about 5 other people until about 3:30. By 4:30 there were probably 100 people waiting to get a 360. I grabbed hold of a top box, and the guy next to me grabbed the one next to mine. As soon as I saw someone else start grabbing at one, we took off towards the registers. I paid a friend $5 to wait in line for the Samsung digicams to grab me one.

I was swinging elbows and shit trying to get the crazy 40 year old women away from the 360 I grabbed. I would totally do that again.
