" An organization calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen claimed it was behind attacks in the nation's financial capitals, which began late Wednesday night. Nine suspected terrorists had been caught, India's NMTV reported, and two were killed "
Like I said, I think that's a front.. to cover tracks.SEREMAKER wrote:

Was martial law declared yet or no?
It scares me even more thinking something like this could happen in NYC. Load of people around...a coordinated attack could leave hundreds dead.

Considering the number, there's a good chance at least one is captured, unless they cap themselves beforehand.TheAussieReaper wrote:
It sounds well coordinated unfortunately. You might not have seen the end of this terror group unless those captured are made to talk as soon as possible about what the next target is.
Parker with all due respect, if you're saying that if people were allowed to concealed carry then the casualties wouldn't have been as huge... these are guys who probably have body armor and fully automatic weapons firing into huge crowds of people. People who aren't necessarily super trained with gunfire and combat. They'd have to grab their guns, figure out who's firing (and if multiple people are firing, who are the bad guys), etc.Parker wrote:
i wonder if there is a concealed carry law over there?
Yeah, the ability to stand among the sheep and fire back never helps.Hurricane2k9 wrote:

Many ex-soldiers are citizens. Having a weapon gives you options.TheAussieReaper wrote:
Your natural instinct is always to flee when suddenly your in a gunfight and people are screaming and dying around you anyway. That's why soldiers need training...
The fact that they were able to kill three top police officers, including the chief of the anti-terror squad, is telling enough.FatherTed wrote:
You really have to question security services in India if something this widespread (and organised) can happen without any warning.

I am sure if you were nuttering in Houston Texas with an AK47 you wouldn't be worried at all about being capped in the back of the head by someone because Concealed Carry is so benign.
Indeed.Ilocano wrote:
